About NASA Dragonfly Launch

Dragonfly is a NASA mission that will send a nuclear-powered rotorcraft to Titan, Saturn's largest moon, to fly between sites and study its chemistry. It is led by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.

NASA has booked a SpaceX Falcon Heavy for the launch, with a window from July 5 to July 25, 2028, from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The launch was moved from 2027 to 2028 in 2023.

Dragonfly is expected to reach Titan in 2034. This countdown runs to 00:00 UTC on July 5, 2028, the first day of the window, because the launch time has not been set.
