Zootopia 3
Zootopia 3 was officially confirmed by Walt Disney Animation Studios at the D23 fan event in Anaheim in August 2026. The announcement featured Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush alongside cast members Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan, who confirmed their characters would return for a third film.
As of this writing, Disney has not announced a release date, director lineup, full cast, or plot synopsis for the film. Reporting following the announcement noted that Disney animated features typically take four to five years to complete, which has led some outlets to speculate an early-2030s release, but this is not an official studio timeline.
Because no date has been confirmed, this countdown cannot display a specific release date. It will be updated once Disney announces official release information.
